Attending the match tomorrow for the first time, making the short trip up from Stoke. Is a taxi the best way to get to the ground from Piccadilly? Cheers

I think the best way to attend the game would be on Saturday, not tomorrow, cos you'll gave a valley long wait

www.darlofc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29754 Could line up against us on Saturday. Bought for a fee rumoured to be in the region of 15k. Not bad for a club in debt, and not owning their own ground, an WE gave been accused of trying to buy the league!

I know the centre of Manchester fairly well, especially the Northern Qtr but not really travelled around the outskirts other than to Chorlton a couple of times. Thanks for the bus tip too, I'll look into that.

Certainly puts our transfer fees in the shade by comparison!

But again they strengthen from same division and pay way over the odds we strengthen from above i dont think lads have brought a player inn this season from our division all have been from above and still in prime and not for silly money. SALFORD SALFORD

As for Hardy, £15k for a player who is out of contract in 3 months and is 28 would be obscene and daft. A point raised too that we are debt free with significant cash reserves which will be utilized for our move back to Darlington. Looking forward to the game tomorrow.

Would any Darlington/Salford fans be prepared to help out for a university assignment and undergo a short interview about Salford's decision to make the match an all ticket one and the affects it has had on your respective team?

Would any Darlington/Salford fans be prepared to help out for a university assignment and undergo a short interview about Salford's decision to make the match an all ticket one and the affects it has had on your respective team? I would pal but it wasnt a Salford decision its on the advice of the FA due to last seasons appauling behaviour from some of the Darlington fans and on the QT i think Darlington as a club will be happy aswell as only genuine football fans will get tickets and the game will pass with only the football being talked about. Salford as a club is all about family bring the kids along for free have a kick about behind the goals #jumpersforgoalposts and last seasons game was defo not for kids too many potty mouths off their nut so for me all ticket was the only way forward for the love of the game
