Spoke to bernard and he,s confirmed both hulme & stopforth are suspended for the game on Saturday. Imo that's a massive loss to us specially stopforth in midfield. Not that I'm saying hulme ain't gonna be missed.

Surely a local referee would have said last nights game was off.Giving no consideration to Saturday.

Stopforths engine in the middle of the park will be massively missed, unfortunately Moses and Clark don't cover the distances covered by Gaz! Who would I start out of Clark and Moses??? Moses is stronger in the tackle, and gives us a bit of experience maybe needed for the game.
Hulme will be a miss and plays a huge part for us, however I feel we have great Depth in the forward department and confident whoever comes in to replace him on Saturday.
If there's a game we need to win, it's this one! If there's a game that I want to win, it's this one!

Stopforth will be the biggest loss for us. I just hope that Burton is fit to play the 90 minutes. Moses starts over Clark any day of week.
It would be good to have Hulme available, but we have more options in his position. Allen has played well and scored a couple in the last two games, while Seds also appears to be fit and back on the goal scene. Hine will probably start, and hopefully Pooley will be fit to play some part, as will Webber.

A couple of quick points...
On the postponement front, it was a local referee of the appropriate grade who made the decision to postpone, after speaking to the match referee. The club has no say in that decision and no consideration is given to upcoming games when it is made.
On the suspension front - suspensions are usually for a set number of games and have a commencement date (at our level, two weeks after the red card, or fifth/tenth/fifteenth yellow card of the season for an individual player). Once the suspension has started it covers the next 'x' number of first team competitive games played, where 'x' is the number of games a player is suspended for. Jordan was sent off on 19th January and was suspended for three games. He has served one (Rammy at home) and still has two to go (currently, this will be Darlington at home and Ilkeston away).
Gary Stopforth was sent off - a second yellow card - on 23rd January so his suspension started on 6th February. As the Halesowen game scheduled for that day was postponed, he has two games left to serve - as with Jordan, these are Darlington at home and Ilkeston away.
If either of the next two games are postponed, the suspensions move on to the next game, until the full suspension has been served. In bad weather 3 game bans can last for quite a few weeks.
One more point - a suspension for a second yellow card dismissal is usually 1 game, but as Gary Stopforth was sent off earlier in the season (Barwell away), an extra game has been added to the ban.

To answer Chris P. Bacon's point (only just seen it) - yes, we will have security in place for the game this weekend. Greater Manchester Police and specialist officers from the Durham Constabulary will be in attendance, along with local stewards and senior stewards from Darlington. We are aware of the possibility that supporters may try to climb into the ground but both the police and stewards will be looking out for them.
A considerable number of local police officers will be on standby.
We are determined to make Saturday go smoothly, whilst retaining the usual amiable Moor Lane atmosphere at the same time. We are confident that our supporters - as always - will conduct themselves well and any trouble makers will be ejected from the ground.

A few contradictory comments on their forum, on the whole seems they all struggled obtaining tickets, a few got some en route to marine, but the majority seem to be the true Darlo fans, still a good precaution having security to stop the odd moron and wall climber.

Any news on tickets being available either to day or tomorrow? Doubt it, they were on sale Tuesday but only for locals with proof of address, I'm guessing you're a Darlington fan, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Yep most games a couple of local youths jump the wall nothing to do with me but i know of a couple of season ticket holders who have aswell got to game late midweek twice now and couldnt get in. As ive stated before id welcome them all if they behaved and just supported their team im meeting a couple of Darlo fans before hand for a couple of beers and footy chat

Peter Lims a billionaire, I'm sure he's not going to miss someone not paying there £7 (not that I'm condoning it) when I referred to wall climbers it wasn't people who wanted to get in to watch the game, purely those who are there to only cause trouble, having security on to prevent wall climbers for the Darlo game, will help prevent any trouble occurring.

How dare you call me a Darlington fan lol, ive lived in Salford all my life, i have my ticket, only asking because if any one was going to purchase a ticket before the Workington game and couldn't get there before 4 they have missed out on getting one, it just gives them kast chance to get one.
