Just re-read TD's post, either way I'm guessing we'll be separated.

Just re-read TD's post, either way I'm guessing we'll be separated. There are no plans in place for segregation to be implemented!

TD is correct - we're not going to segregate for the Darlington game. We don't really want to go down that path unless we have to (we had no choice for the FA Cup).
We have been working closely with Darlington and the local police to ensure that the chances of trouble are kept to a minimum.
The supporters who will get tickets from DFC will be season ticket holders and we are confident that our fans will - as usual - be content with some banter. Let's keep the rivalry on the pitch where it belongs and get this game played in the traditional Moor Lane manner. Darlington and their supporters are welcome at Moor Lane but on this occasion - following consulation with various authorities after last season's game - we have to be a bit careful.
After last season our primary concern is that everyone enjoys the afternoon and the after-match talk is all about the football.

The Darlo fans have boasted that they have plenty of tickets, but I took that as bollox. But can you confirm that there will be security at the game Andy. Not to stop trouble.....they aren't qualified to do that. But to stop those without tickets climbing the fence. Quite a few did that last season. Those that do, are likely to be the ones who cause the trouble.

A few came down on route to marine last weekend before the frickley game but only a hand full nothing to worry about and a couple tried it tuesday but were turned away they can bring as many as they want for me if they behaved but its unlikely as usual a minority will try it on and cock it up for the real fans

what happens to Hulme and Stopforth's bans with the last 2 games being off?
I think Jordan's three game ban was, Rammy, Halesowen and the final game tonight against Workington, do these carry on to the rearranged games or will he be out Saturday?
Stopforth's i think was meant to be against Halesowen but that was obviously called off to.

I'm not 100% but as far as I am aware in the event of a postponement a players ban is carried on to the next immediate game, based on the fact that a match ban is not specific to a particular opponent, so I think, I think, both are out Saturday (if it's not postponed!!!)

These days players are suspended for games rather than time periods. I think at one time I'm right in stating that if a player began say a one or two week ban then if all the scheduled games to be played during that specified time were postponed then he was deemed to have served his ban irrespective. Think that's why they now state games instead of dates although I stand to be corrected if necessary.

Weather forecast predicts very little chance of rain between now and Saturday, with a small downpour Saturday morning. Let's get this game on and show Darlo we're still in this title race!

I think that was the thinking behind postponement last night the pitch would of been wrote off for weekend

If given the choice between the two, I would choose to get the Saturday game on against Darlo. That said, the pitch would have been unplayable last night whether Saturday's game goes ahead or not.
