There is gonna be some improvements with the pitch in the closed season which will improve the playing surface with better drainage and thus the playing style which we look to want to play given the type of players we have brought inn and football lads are trying to play which at the mo is being hindered with the pitch exciting times ahead!! That said George has done a sterling job to keep the pitch playable in this bobbins weather !!

Pitch is always a credit to George.
Are we getting a Carlisle style makeover?

I'll go fourth, then, as it were.
George has always done a marvellous with the pitch for as long as I've been going and many more years beside. This season has easily been his toughest test in at least a decade.

Look at Warrington when they had an fa cup run it ruined they league form but look at them this season. Our boys put so much effort into the fa cup run that we all enjoyed little wonder our form may have dipped. Remember these players have day jobs too cut them some slack people. As regards the pitch the skelmersdale game has caused the pitch and George does his best. Finally as regards the management love Rd them to bits my only worry is the indiscipline at times. People who know me know my opinion and I will leave it that
