This weekend sees us make the trip to the Capital and AFC Wimbledon's Cherry Red Stadium in the hope of securing a win which would go a long way to guaranteeing our Football League status with the unthinkable (although unlikely) possibility of relegation still a mathematical possibility. Hugely frustrating consecutive 2-1 defeats over Easter have been disappointing and have again highlighted our inconsistent form over the whole season. Our hosts AFC Wimbledon, while lying just three points off the play-off places, are in a dip of form themselves with just two points from their last four games after having taken ten from the previous four. Needless to say, they'll be looking to get back to winning ways although having played more games then the teams immediately above them their chances of grabbing a top seven place on current form appear to be diminishing. For our part Karl Robinson will be wanting maximum effort and commitment from his side with a number of players being put under the microscope with view to his plans for next season.

The one thing I'm confident of is we won't keep a clean sheet. I can't honestly see us winning as Wimbledon are just 3 points outside the play offs and we seem to have decided we've nothing but pride to play for judging by Alex Cairns' comments today. The best I think we can manage is a draw but realistically another 2 or 3-1 job I reckon.
Hopefully those below us lose too. Roll on the end of the season.

Think a few miles away at Kingston TD. Better at Wimbledon South or Tooting, tough journey but fingers crossed for a positive result.

Maybe. Or maybe not.
I'll definitely be going down there to support the team. And as long as I see a reasonably entertaining game of football; with at least a couple of 'Oh, nice one!' moments, and with the odd little bit of drama thrown in, I won't be disappointed. Whatever the result.
PS: And the view from the coach windows, once you get into the London area, is well worth a butchers.

Wimbledon fan here - our ground is at Plough Lane (Cherry Red Records' Stadium) which is the border of Tooting/Wimbledon. By train - get the Victoria line tube from Euston to Vauxhall then train from Vauxhall to Earlsfield. Away fans' pubs are all close to Earlsfield station - ground is 15 walk to the left as you come out of the station. All pubs closer to the ground are "home" pubs with security on the door, even The Corner Pin by the ground, which away fans have to walk past...Also possible to get Tube from Euston to Tooting Broadway on the Northern Line then walk past St George's Hospital - again about 15 mins walk. If you go to Wimbledon station, turn right out of the station and 1st right to catch the 493 bus from Alexandra Road to outside the ground. Programme with Salford fan's article in it is £3 from inside the ground. Away turnstile opens at 1.30 pm and there's a snackbar serving lager inside the away end. I think you have about 50% of the designated away end tomorrow based on online ticket allocation. It's a CASHLESS stadium by the way. Oh and we still have PTSD from losing last season's home game against you so please go easy on us...

I think you’re safe tomorrow, but we are such a Jekyll and Hyde team…..who knows. once we have guaranteed safety, I’ll be happy. I’m ready for the break now!

Yeah, we were pretty cruel last time you invited us down; scoring twice in the dying minutes of injury time...

Looks like ill discipline and sub-standard finishing all contributing to a limp end of the season run in. Not too bothered now that I didn't go!
