Tuesday night (weather permitting) sees us make the trip over the Pennines to Valley Parade and Bradford City where we meet up for the first time with former boss Graham Alexander who took over the hot seat from Mark Hughes. It's been mixed fortunes for the popular ex Salford boss who opened his tenure with 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats while a draw at Colchester last weekend halted a potential run of three defeats with previous losses against against Crawley Town and Crewe Alexandra while in the EFL Trophy the Bantams have impressed and fought their way through to the Quarter Finals where they face a home tie against fellow league side Doncaster Rovers. The more recent appointment of Karl Robinson at Moor Lane has seemingly transformed the players into a far happier squad resulting in a draw and a win (at our 12th attempt) which has coincided with the return from injury of Luke Bolton, Callum Hendry, Theo Vassell, Liam Shepherd and Osama Ashley as well as the recall of loan striker Callum Morton. It actually feels like we've signed six new players in the last fortnight without any outlay for them. We've enjoyed a good record against Bradford City in the past although recent meetings have gone the way of our hosts so now is as good a time as any to redress the balance back in our favour. I think I'll be wearing my Graham Alexander scarf from the National League play off final as a tribute to the man who took us into the Football League as well as the EFL Trophy final. It's the least he deserves!

I’m expecting a good result here. A draw would be decent, but who knows if the players are much happier.

If they play like they did against Crawley it should be a very good game.

Assuming it's on I hope they pick up where they left off at Crawley. Show the same drive and energy and we should get a positive result. Having seen a video of the poor state of the Valley Parade pitch and with heavy rain forecast I think it's far more likely it will be postponed than not sadly.

Any idea what time the coach for Bradford is supposed to be picking up from Moor Lane? As its rescheduled from a Saturday the departure time on the original coach ticket won't apply for a Tuesday night game.

The time on the official SCFC website hasn't been updated since 24th of November - when coach departure time was given as 12:30. I have e-mailed The Club about it.
As a result of a couple of phone calls to fans it would appear that, as TD says, the coach is now leaving at 18:00. It would be nice if the website were corrected.

If they play like they did against Crawley it should be a very good game. If they? Is that us or Bradford City as we've both played Crawley Town in the last fortnight with very contrasting outcomes!

Hi guys. Salford season ticket holder here. I was wondering if you could give me some help. I have booked some away tickets for the Bradford game tonight online. However, I haven't received any actual tickets through. Does anyone know if away tickets are emailed? Or do I need to go to the ground to collect? There doesn't seem to be a ticket office phone number that I can call and noone has responded to my email to the ticket email address.

It's just a little odd that you can buy away tickets on the online system, but it is not published anywhere how to collect them. I'm going to try to pop by the ground straight after I finish work- hopefully I'll be able to collect them then. Also, hope that the game's still on after all the rain!

"Supporters can buy tickets from the Salford ticket office during opening hours, starting from 12pm on Monday 27th November. They will also be available to purchase online, to be collected at the away turnstiles on the day."
