No news yet, but I thought someone suggested £180?

According to Andy G on Facebook they hope to announce next week. I suggested £180 as my renewal is sat on my online account at that price but its just an educated guess

One can only presume that season tickets will me made available for purchase once we know under what 'measures' we will be expected to play in following the next lockdown announcement. It won't leave much time until the season proper starts but I'm sure the club will manage accordingly. They always do!

Yes I guess the intention was to announce after 14th but the extended restrictions put the kibosh on that. I agree we'll probably know after 12th July which doesn't give an awful lot of time to sell and distribute 1000+ tickets. I would imagine a fairly short buying window of around a week seeing as it's all set up online now and then immediate printing and posting. But than what do I know

As was advised/expected prices have gone up this season but we still work out as the cheapest in EFL2 with the exception of Bradford City which given their average attendances, potential and ground capacity is hardly surprising. Up until now we've been by far the cheapest in the EFL as well as when we were in the National and National North leagues. It's inevitable that they had to rise given what's gone on in the last 18 months and particularly so when you compare against the prices we've had to pay on our travels with the supporters of those clubs getting an absolute bargain in comparison. There will of course be many who will complain but these people seem to forget how cheap it has been at Salford for many years as well as the heavily subsidised away coaches which have been and which will continue to be priced extremely competitively. salfordcityfc.co.uk/season-ticket-prices-announced-202122/?fbclid=IwAR3w1DNUXeZyQU1L24GN_0O9bm08Y_32glQz_8ReLL1bpMts2UILFUrKuP4

There's a fair few grumbles on the fans Facebook page about the price increase, particularly those who didn't renew last season and now have to pay the "new" price of £250. For what it's worth my opinion is they made a choice not to renew due to the pandemic so they can hardly complain now, cake and eat it comes to mind. There was the opportunity to renew last season in return for online coverage and the small possibility of attending some games.
As it was we couldn't go but as someone who did fork out last season I'd be a bit miffed if those who didn't got the best of both worlds. The discount was offered as a reward for those who supported the club last year. Rant over ☺️

The club has 'rewarded' those who were prepared to take a chance on their being live football. My only sympathy will be those who were perhaps made redundant from their jobs and obviously had to make an easy choice between getting by from week to week or buying a season ticket - or tickets in case of family groups.

I can see it from both sides i guess. I didn’t renew mine as i hate watching footie on tv and esp with no grounds etc its soulless!
But on the other hand its nice to reward the fans who did renew their season tickets also. I personally think the price increase for new season tickets holders with a £70 increase is a bit steep! When you think our attendances aren’t great anyway and just after a pandemic with salford being classed as a city in poverty compared to others!
Me personally i wont be getting a season ticket! As ppl on here who know me i travel a lot for both home and away games, i cant make every game due to work! And i dont get the option for cheap travel on the coaches like ppl living in salford do!
If i had to choose, id rather choose away games over home games, and pay on the gate when i attend home games. Ive found home games souless in terms of atmosphere when we could attend, along with the facilities being poor in terms of waiting 30/40 minutes for a pint at times.

Well it's £250 for me this season as despite trying to renew last year 3 or 4 times via phone or turning up at the ground I never managed to renew and I just gave up eventually! Appreciate things were all over the place with COVID but I doubt it would have been that difficult to arrange online ST sales without the requirement to fill in manual forms etc.
Anyway, what's done is done, £250 is still a more than fair enough price at barely just over a tenner a game. I just hope the club has an online ordering option to save the hassle of having to visit the ticket office.

There is an online option at the link below, you would need to create an account to then buy tickets if you don't already have one www.venuetoolbox.com/salfordcity/ASP/bookTickets.asp?homeArea=home&dept=

I can see both sides here. I considered not renewing, but we have seats and I didn’t want to lose them. Glad we renewed now. I feel for those who didn’t or couldn’t renew, but I also feel it’s right to offer a benefit to those who did. For existing ST holders, it’s a 20% increase. Seems steep, but it has to be viewed in relation to our very low price to start with.

It is quite a hike in prices but we're still pretty good value I think. There's National League clubs who charge more than Salford never mind most L2.
Also seeing as 60k can get in Wembley and 140k at the British GP then we should have no problem all getting in on 7th August 🤔
