Interesting to note that our visit to Kidderminster last Saturday which was their fifth home game of the season attracted their biggest home gate to date of 2,072 with an away following of 82. I appreciate that both figures will be broken when they entertain their more local rivals as well as the likes of FC United and Darlington but it again shows what a great draw we are when playing away. It's interesting to note the previous four away followings at the Aggborough ground were as follows: Brackley Town (31) - admittedly on a Tuesday night - Chorley (84), Stalybridge Celtic (21) and Altrincham (72). Given that there was no coach to the game and that we bettered and nearly matched some of the more established teams in our division then our turnout is not to be sneered out. Also bear in mind that the 218 mile round trip was made by a fair few more people than watched us in a number of our home games at Moor Lane just three years ago prior to the takeover!
