I'm certainly no prude and have very definitely been known to use colourful language on the odd occasion but have to say that some of the chants heard last night were particularly cringeworthy. We've always prided ourselves on our wit and humour and I'd like to think that we're far more original - as well as taking into consideration those around us - in our vocal support for the team we follow then having to use effin this and effin that 'songs' aimed at opposition fans of which a number were in close proximity. It ain't big and it's definitely not clever! Also, the quicker we get the ground developed the better which will put an end to the over crowding that we now see in the Nevile Road stand - particularly when the weather is really bad - which is resulting in a number of seated spectators having their views obstructed by others who stand on the steps instead of at the back of the stand. Totally agree, the language from some of the younger supporters is a bit ott, and those songs about Lancashire, Yorkshire, red rose white rose was utterly awful that why i moved to behind the goal in the second half.
