I doubt he would start THIS low. :-) but if not guilty, he will get a contract with a much higher club. I'm not even convinced he'll face a a retrial? I wouldn't be surprised if the CPS offer no evidence.

Massive intent, and with naild down some existing key players.
Looks like talks are ongoing with jay Lynch.

Another couple of signings today from our new league, certainly reinforces that statement of intent. But I fear now for some of the players who have got us so far, and may now be just used as bit part players, because surely these established Conference players are not coming here to play 2nd fiddle to essentially Evostik players, although those players do deserve the chance to prove themselves at their new level. I feel the managers will have a major headache over the next 2 months, but it is something that they seemingly have been building up to in the last 7/8 years and we should all have confidence in their ability to continue to foster their unique sense of togetherness which has stood them in good stead thus far.

I agree that a fair number of the players from last season deserve an opportunity next season. On the other hand, there's often not much room for sentiment in football. I think a balance has to be struck between keeping the core of a squad and its spirit and adding enough quality to be able to compete at the new level, keeping in mind that they will want to do well in the new league rather than just try and stay in it. Remember, a fair number of the 2014/15 squad were kept on into last season, but it didn't take too long before the management realised that they needed to add some quality and that some players had to leave. As a result, the likes of Poole, Allen, and Hardcastle (loan) came in to improve the team. I'm sure that the club will want to try and get the right players in early this season, hence the new signings, but at the same time, negotiations with key members of the current squad have either been done already or are ongoing, which is also a positive. I would expect maybe two or three more of the squad that ended last season to be released before August, too. I'm not sure about 7/8 years. I think the reality is that everything was reset once Co92 took over. This progression has been building from 2014, in my opinion. All else that went before was a different team with a different budget and different ambitions.

Joking aside. If he scores on his debut we'll all be toasting him.
Trump that one.
