No, but what a player. Nobody can control a ball like him. In my relatively short time as a supporter, a legend!

No, but what a player. Nobody can control a ball like him. In my relatively short time as a supporter, a legend! Totally agree with all the above statement. He's been an absolute class player for Salford since his stunning hat-trick debut against Scarborough in the opening game of the 2014-15 season and has scored no end of 'wonder' goals with his extra-time screamer against Ashton United being memorable for an obvious number of reasons. So disappointed for him this season regarding his injury situation which kept him out for such a long time and I'm convinced if he had been fully fit he would have definitely replicated last seasons total goal haul. Thanks Seds for all your efforts. You will not be forgotten and don't forget us!

Sounds like he will be continuing to play next season... so will be interesting to see where he goes.
On another note.. just tweeted Redders and he like my tweet about hoping Jonno and the Neville brothers sign him.
MAKE IT HAPPEN

Sorry to see Seds go. I would have liked to see him get another year if fully fit.

Have to trust the gaffers on this, but with his injuries this season, and his age starting to get the better of him, probably the right decision. I want to remember such an amazing talent, rather than him play on and struggle if he got injured again.
But total class.....fantastic player.

Hopefully we'll start to add new signings to the team soon. By my reckoning, we finished the season with a 20-man first team squad, including back-up goalkeeper and Mikey Itela. I've listed them below and crossed off who has left.
1. Jay Lynch
2. Chris Lynch 3. O'Halloran 4. Stopforth 5. Howson 6. Priestley 7. Johnson 8. Burton 9. Poole 10. Webber 11. Hulme
12. Gumbs (returned to parent club) 13. Dootson 14. Moses 15. Clark 16. Allen
17. Seddon 18. Hine 19. Mwsalie 20. Itela
Three have gone, leaving seventeen. Assuming that we can keep hold of the rest of our top players, I'd say there is still at least three or four there who probably won't be here at the start of the season. Plus, we have to wonder if Dootson will stay on as reserve GK for another year and whether Itela will go out on loan again.

I also didn't consider whether or not Danny Webber will be with us next season. Does anyone know if he has decided to hang up his boots? Hopefully not, but that could be another name crossed off the list.

Fylde are a club with ambition and were unlucky not to get promoted to the National League this season. They will certainly be targeting that promotion next season and will be among the favourites to win the league. With that in mind, the fact that we appear to be targeting their key players as possible transfers gives a good indication of our own ambitions, and I think it shows that we are determined to compete with the best in this league in our own quest for an eventual promotion. I wonder whether the club might go in for Blackpool's Jack Redshaw. He played for us in two spells before eventually moving to league football. However, his step up from Morecambe to Blackpool didn't pan out so well and with their relegation, I wonder if he might have a pending release from the club. He's clearly a league two level player, but with his connections here, I wonder if we could persuade him to sign a year's contract (I'm sure we could make it worth his while in terms of remuneration). I would love to see him back at Salford, fantastic player and a Salford lad to boot. However, I won't hold my breath.

As someone who was seemingly wrongly convicted, and could now be considered no longer a pariah, Ched Evans may have to start at the bottom and work his way up again. What better place than Moor Lane?
