Scotty b and gaz in the middle is a class partnership, but clark has done well in recent games.
I think every game up until the end of the season will be described as BIG!

When we played them up at their place in November we produced a complete, near-perfect performance. It was the best we have played in the league by a country mile. Workington did not actually play that bad against us; we were just too good on the day. Unfortunately, we've rarely come close to replicating that performance since.
It will be tough on Tuesday, and people should not think it will be a roll over just because we've won a game on Saturday or because we beat them so comprehensively last time. That said, not including Burton, we still have nine, possibly ten, of the fourteen players used that day, which shows that we have the quality in the squad to beat some of the decent sides in the league. Tough to call, I think, but I'd like to believe that we can build on Saturday and stake our claim for a play off spot.

Another fantastic win... wasnt there and sounds like i missed a cracking game. Webber and Allen once again having a cracking game when they came on.
We really have grafted the last 2 games against our play off rivals.... and we've bagged goals. Have we turned a corner where we go the rest of the season unbeaten?

Made up with that win, again conceding easy goals from set pieces but we look a lot better in attack. I thought the Danny Webber HT sub made the biggest difference, he was brilliant when he came on. Gary Stopforth outstanding as usual and our centre halves solid and a hat trick for Lynchy. Great win, just got to keep winning our games and hope others slip up. Up the Ammies!

Cracking win against a resolute Workington.
Defence dodgy from set pieces but let's concentrate on an excellent attacking performance. Some good interlink play in all areas of the pitch
Respect to the Workington fans who made the trip and supported their team
Another three points against a play off rival which sets us up for Skem

better than recent weeks, good lively start only to be undone by sloppy goals off set pieces again, which is getting frustrating.
as madden said, we looked a lot better when webber went and pulled the strings in midfield.
who was saying he was finished on here the other day?
as for workington I didn't think they looked like a side that's currently worthy of the position they're occupying in the league, very average side on tonight's showing.
hope Poole going off at half time isn't anything to serious.
clark wasn't at his best today, I think Burton may replace him Saturday
Lynchy take a bow and roll on Saturday

Those who weren't there tonight missed a good game.I think the three points were more important than the performance.Danny Webber should be starting in my opinion, like I have said he is still the best footballer at the club.

Great result, but oh, what might have been, if we'd found this form a few games earlier. But it bodes well for the playoffs.

I really enjoyed that game. End to end attacking, eight goals, a centre half hat trick, and another three vital points on the board.
Going forward we looked electric, especially in the first twenty minutes, and could have gone four or five up. We identified that their goalie was dodgy on crosses and exploited it, something we have too often neglected to do. Of course, we almost managed to throw it away, and a few of us were grateful for half time, as we feared that they looked more likely to score again once they had pegged it back.
Fortunately, we got back on top early in the first half and never really looked back. The introduction of Webber was no doubt crucial here. We still look dodgy at the back, which may come back to haunt us later on, but for now it's a great attacking performance and a great win.

I'm not too bothered about performances at this point in the season, I'm more bothered about the points, and we're certainly getting them at the moment, long may it continue!
Chris Lynch - Take a bow, for any CB to score a hat-trick is an unbelievable effort, he has scored some important goals of late, could this be his most goals in any one season? Anyone got stats?
