There was several posters around the ground advertising the coach's to Blyth and halesowen. Another factor that may need to be considered is the pick up point we have alot of fans from the Bury area now for obvious reasons so maybe a more central pick up point TGI fridays maybe in prestwich (free car park). On the tannoy system we prob need to have a couple of extra speakers added maybe around near the corner flags on the main stand side (easier to wire/link up) as Andy G has stated he can hear it fine from the shed facing the speakers as its got clear line of sight for sound too travel. No, I don't agree. If we've gained some fans from the Bury area, then great. But those same people still have to travel into the Salford area to watch Salford play at home, so there's no difference to travelling into Salford to get the coach for away games.

Admittingly I don't get to as many away games as I would like, but I'm still baffled by the lack of away support. Despite the quiet tannoy I've always seen the coach advert on the website. There's no doubt the majority at Moor Lane are newer fans, perhaps they've no interest in following the club away??

They do travel to moorlane granted so why not have the pick up point at the club which has much better travel links into mcr and towards bury.

The ground seems a fair shout. The only reason I could speculate that it hasn't been there before is that it isn't an official club coach.

Cheers Broughton, i am from the Bury area and got on the Coach to Halesowen, now the reason i attempted to use the coach was the chance to have a beer before and during game instead of driving. Well what a bloody nightmare i had, the Mrs dropped me off at the Henry Bodd pub not a problem but when the game was called off i was stranded there with a taxi cost back of £23 as well as coach cost ( Mrs had taken daughter to hockey in Glossop ) if the pick up point had been TGIS like the team bus, the link back to Bury would have been easy unlike Pendlebury which i am not familiar with, Has for getting to club for home games there are usually 4 of us and we share a taxi from Bury to the Red Lion in Prestwich. Then get a lift back of Jonno, oh i didnt mention hes my son.

We had a chat in the dining area of the pub before the coach arrived!

If I'd known you were Jonno's dad I would of give you a lift home, we spoke outside the pub just before you got your taxi, feel bad now :-(

I have just spoken to ABC coaches they are going to announce shortly about the Ilkeston game I get the impression this could be our last chance to have regular away travel. I suggested a cut off maybe 2 days before game and if not enough numbers cancel the coach so as not to lose money. Also put all of your points from the forum forward. Hope the scheme can carry on
