Presumably you, Dan, Carl and Adam as well as me, returntosender, westonsupermanc and andrewg (hopefully). I don't know why we can't fill a coach more easily, given our greatly increased home gates. Perhaps if a LOUD announcement was made both before and after each home game - instead of just at half time then that might help. It would also help if people could actually hear the tannoy which to be honest is p*ss poor when the stand is full! It really needs to be sorted out as even the team changes are barely audible.

Agreed, tannoy is muffled and far too quite, I had to fill in the gaps with what I had read on the website last time the coach trip was announced, and if you're having a conversation, no way you'd stop to listen to an announcement you can barely hear at half time, before and after is a better idea.

After I told A B C,that I was putting a thread Re,Ilkeston on this forum to gauge support they said it was a good idea. They said they would get in touch with Andy G so the club was in the loop.I think if we do not get this going now, that will be that. That is just my opinion.

Posters in the clubhouse might help as well, unless they're already there and I've missed them?

TD, I want to go to Ilkeston and would be fine having my Halesowen deposit deducted from the cost of a coach. I think at least four of the five of us booked on would go on the coach, though I don't think they are on the forum. Presumably you, Dan, Carl and Adam as well as me, returntosender, westonsupermanc and andrewg (hopefully). Yes, I'm not sure about Percy, but he's on here so will be able to tell you himself. I'll drop Karl a text this morning to confirm, but I think our general rule is now that we'll go on the ABC coach if one is running.

Couple of us couldn't make the Halesowen game but can make this one. Will be a shame if they stop it after just two trial runs, other than regulars on the forum I'm not sure how aware most fans will be about this. As has been mentioned, you can barely hear the tannoy announcements and if you've gone for a pint or food at HT chances are you haven't heard it. Couple of lads we go the match with who aren't on here had no clue

The downside to putting your requests directly to ABC is that the club have no indication or track on numbers! It need to be publicised via the "Official" facebook group and have posters in and around the ground. Also, in the programme the information about away travel gets lost with all the other club news. Have a separate area or a boxed area about away travel so that it's easy to see!

Returntosender, you understand incorrectly.
The club are more than happy to be involved in arranging travel to away games for supporters. We release the news about coaches on the Website, Facebook and Twitter and will make every attempt to publicise coaches more efficiently at games. Oddly enough, I can hear the tannoy OK from the shed stand during games so am surprised to hear its not always clear in the main stand. Any other reports of poor volume/clarity from around the ground?
A poster in the clubhouse is a good idea and we'll look at doing that - the programme can be more difficult as it is compiled a week before the game and we do not always have details of the next coach trip to hand. If it can be done in future, it will be.
At the end of the day however, the success or failure of the scheme depends on how many supporters are willing to use it regularly. At the moment, the fact is, we do not have enough. Hopefully that will change.

Any other reports of poor volume/clarity from around the ground? I can't hear it properly from either goal end, nor from just in front of the stand where I usually wait to see which way we are kicking (i.e. you really have too concentrate to make out the team lineup announcement). Others who stand with me have said the same thing.

The club have tried to get the coaches organised, and obviously the supporters haven't fulfilled that opportunity. If the club can publicise it a little more then that's good enough for me. andyg On the tannoy side of things, you might be able to hear it better as your opposite the main stand, but from behind the goals it isn't as clear. Saying that there does seem to be a difference in mic volume on a match to match basis. More volume consistence, and a way to ensure all fans regardless of where people view the game can hear the tannoy announcements.

There was several posters around the ground advertising the coach's to Blyth and halesowen. Another factor that may need to be considered is the pick up point we have alot of fans from the Bury area now for obvious reasons so maybe a more central pick up point TGI fridays maybe in prestwich (free car park).
On the tannoy system we prob need to have a couple of extra speakers added maybe around near the corner flags on the main stand side (easier to wire/link up) as Andy G has stated he can hear it fine from the shed facing the speakers as its got clear line of sight for sound too travel.

I understand only partly incorrectly,if I go on the coach I go along A B C tell them I want to book, and pay my money.like everyone else that is what I meant.
