Glad I went this afternoon to see Salford City B beat Preston North End B convincingly by 4-0 at Salford Sports Village. Thoroughly enjoyable game that could easily have seen us score 6 or 7 at least! Standout player for me was Sandro Da Costa on the right wing but equally Jez Davies was as impressive and Ben Findlay scored a cracking goal. Good to see Ethan Ingram and Liam Humbles influential but overall is was a great team performance enjoyed by a decent turnout with Kelly N'mail also in attendance. Difference between the two teams was that we had a number of flair players with some of the passing and movement a joy to watch whereas Preston were more dour in their approach and probably workmanlike in their approach but made little impact on a well marshalled Salford defence with Joel Torrance not being called into serious action more than a couple or so times.

Sounds like they have more about them than half the first team. Hopefully we can get some of them through in the next year or 2

Good to hear Jez Davies is looking impressive. Haven't seen any of him in the first team since signing have we? Was fairly excited about him signing when he did.
