Good win on a good surface, maybe we need a new pitch over a new right back in the summer???
Beyond the Easter weekend double header, we only play at the weekends. So at least 5 days between games to rest and work on the training ground. Which with our injuries might be a blessing.

Just watched this - personal highlight is some fella constantly saying ‘what are you doingggg….’. Stuart Maynard post match comments are a tad salty, Salford are a magnet for this disingenuous rubbish by opposition managers and fans of late… I love it haha

If you read the above preview dannyboy there'll be no need to ask any potential guest on your post match podcast "what was your form like going into the game against ourselves"! Cheeky.

Had a feeling this would be win. Thought McAleny had one of his best games I've seen. That 3 at the back seemed to be an improvement too- no clean sheet but an improvement. When Moreton came on I muttered to myself not sure what this lad really offers but actually his work rate and energy were absolutely huge at the perfect time in the match when Notts were chasing a winner Moreton went after everything. Should be a comfortable win on Friday now! Yeah, gone are the days when the mere sight of Moreton about to come on caused me to sigh and stare at my feet. The part that Moreton played in McAleny's second goal was a joy to watch (over and over!).
