I was a guest tonight on the Gills in the Blood YouTube channel and myself and Matt previewed this Saturdays game. Give it a watch!

Yeah, enjoyed that, Danny. It was informative and entertaining. I must confess that that was the first time that I've actually watched a podcast. Ever. Not just one of yours. Anybody's! Listening to the Gills' rep talking, I kept being reminded of the comedian Mark Steel. Do you ever come away from one of those chats about the next game that we'll be playing, and think: "Blimey, did I give away too much information to 'the enemy' just then!?" Only, in that podcast, you spoke of which players we'd likely be fielding on Saturday, and just what style of play Gillingham could probably expect from us... accepting that your Gillingham opposite number seemed to reel off half his squad as being out injured! Then again, perhaps he was 'doing an Ian Evatt' there.
PS: I was fascinated by the sheer number of times you adjusted your spectacles during the 27 minutes 16 seconds, Danny. I'll tell you exactly how many times next time I see you. My wife tells me that I have the same habit. I think she imagines it.
Anyway, as you touched upon: I am worried about the probable absence of Kelly, Junior and Hendry - among others - on Saturday. But, hopefully, some of our up-and-coming stars will step up to the plate and put in the performance of their lives, eh.

Thanks for giving it a watch Alan, really appreciate it. I’m hoping that opposition teams know far more about what they’re looking at than I do but as you say it does cross my mind that at times I might be making their job easier with my analysis.

I love a good preview episode. Reminds me of the build up to an MMA or boxing event. Can be barely anything riding on the game but a preview helps to create of hype around it! Nice one Danny (I know it's not technically a 'One Up Front')
