In this episode I discuss: how under Karl Robinson the team is attempting to hit areas with their passes rather than a teamate It's a breath of fresh air watching Salford under KR after months of mind numbing boredom nothingness under NW. how Junior Luamba is being used as a second target man I've liked Luamba since his first appearance for us in the EFL Trophy. He's got pace, is strong and fully committed. Admittedly he is still a bit of a rough diamond but I feel he'll make good progress under KR. how Matt Smith is contributing more to our build play with his feet Thought Matt Smith's headed knock-ons were the best I've seen for a long time last night. Seemed every header he made was a productive one. Salford use of a 4-1-1-4 formation with a diamond shaped front line I never ever know what formation we are adopting!
