Did anyone go?
Anything worth reporting, because it seems to be a big secret on Facebook?

I went, Chris. Don't know why, if as you say, it should be "a big secret on Facebook." I'm not on Facebook. There was certainly nothing revolutionary brought up at the meeting ... nor were we sworn to secrecy. Neither Neil Wood nor any of the owners were there. Andy Giblin was present ... and there was (quite rightly!) clapping and cheers at the mention of his name. Andrew Gordon gave a short slide show to accompany his lecture. A lady - who I think was a marketing/promotion person - also said a few words. There was no 'open question and answer spot' after the presentation as such, although we were all invited to chat to both Andrew and the young lady (Kate?) after the more formal bit. I took up the chance to bring up a few points (hopefully of use to her!) in a one-on-one with Kate. The whole event was over in about 45 minutes. We were told that the meeting was being filmed and would be shown on the website; so every fan will be able to see what they may have missed at the time. There were some good-news points that I can remember, e.g.: the 'park and ride' scheme will resume (but from a different site); there's going to be an official fans' reps' group, meeting with The Club on a regular basis; there's a season-launch party planned for July 25th; there was an emphasis on 'creating an experience that is more than the actual match'.
There was lots more than this, Chris, (though nothing that I imagine would blow your socks off!) and it was all positive and sounded good. But I'll say no more in case I don't get/haven't got my facts quite right. Oh yeah ... there was a free bar! ... But I was driving!

Yeah. I thought that. Incidentally, I've added a little bit to my last post since you may have read it. And, as I said earlier, I'm pretty sure that in the original e-mailed invite it did state that all SCFC fans would soon be able to see/hear/read of, whatever, all that went on at the meeting. So none should be in the dark.
