Last season we played four west country sides at home and failed to beat any of them. We again failed against Exeter, so now is the time. Our home form failed us last season and has to be fixed to get out of this league. The smaller pitch doesn't help and with opponents more attacking away opens up the pitch. FGR will be up there this season, so its a good test. Kick on Ammies. Be good to get Gibson and Clarke back. Ammies 2-0.

As you say, we need to improve our home form...against all teams. No excuses this season. We already have a good away record, so fixing the home form should put us right up there. I wonder if they just feel too much pressure at home? A sports psychologist can sort that.
Just because I’m always optimistic before a game, I’ll go for 3-1.

We'll definitely be looking to improve our home form as well as Gary Neville who has been less than pleased with our last two performances at Moor Lane. I'll predict 2-0 in favour of the Ammies to make it our second home league win of 2020 on home soil!

FGR were definitely one of the best teams to come to Moor Lane last season, the 4-0 spanking was a very sobering experience. Hopefully we are better prepared so I’ll go for a win by a single goal margin. On the plus side we are 4 points up on last season’s equivalent matches so hopefully we can put a good run together now and build on it.
