Goodbye Salford

Due to unforeseen circumstances think it’s time for me to say goodbye to a lot of decent people and good friends I’ve made in the last 4 years. I thought it was bad move when bern & johno left rammy to take the reigns at Salford city fc but eah I was wrong. Been a great journey and so glad I came along for the ride. As a father as most fans no Bernard as made me very proud as has johno to mick. But eah new chapter for bern & johno and for us parents, so obviously I’ll be following them and supporting them where ever they end up. So I wish all the Salford fans all the best for the future.

I guess it was inevitable that yourself and Mick would follow B and J as I'm sure any proud parents would do. We will definitely miss having you and Mary around and possibly a handful of others who may also decide to make the switch as well, but it goes without saying that we'll always to be delighted to see any of you either at Moor Lane or wherever our paths may cross in the future. It’s been a privilege to have the lads at Salford. Non-Salford fans see a few clips on s documentary and that sets their opinion. But we know they are probably the most genuine guys in the game.....at any level. I’ve never heard them bullsh*t when we’ve lost a game or played poorly. Never blamed anyone but the team and themselves. Mr Mourinho take note! 😀

They are a model for any aspiring manager. I hope they smash it at Chester next season. We have to accept this and move on, and we seem to have a good guy taking over. But I hope the lads ram Mr Neville’s words back down his throat and show they CAN perform at this or a higher level.
