Hi everyone!
Thought it'd be decent to introduce myself as it looks like i'll be buying a season ticket for the upcoming season.
Slough Town is my current team, it's been a great season as we've just been promoted to the National League South... Would've been a great season but i'm moving to Prestwich in a couple of months and Salford looks like the right kinda club for me in the local area.
Quick question, I like a bit of a sing every now and then, whats the louder section, North or South?

Welcome on board. I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride. There's only one singing end and that's the 'home' standing terraced end behind the goal where all the flags are put up. It's still affectionately known to some as 'the kids playing football end' and you can view it on our match highlights elsewhere on this forum to get a taste of what to expect!

Good to have you on board, Craig. The North and South stands are both all-seater, intergrated and well-behaved. The East and West stands are terraced. Lively (sometimes!) AWAY FANS stand at the East End. The place for you, as Tangerinedream and salfordiandude have said, is most-definitely behind the goal in the WEST END TERRACING. You can sing and chant your heart out there... you'll really be made welcome. You'll soon forget about Slough and will feel like you've been supporting Salford all your life!! You'll have a great time. Get yourself a season ticket, if you haven't already. They're terrific value.
PS: And don't worry about being A SOUTHERNER. There's plenty at Salford City, Craig. Heaven forbid... I'm originally from LONDON... and even I fit in perfectly! Good luck, mate. Hope to see you come the 18/19 season.
