Well I found this site after watching class of 92. I'm an Ex Pat living in Australia for 23 years. Grew up following Charlton Athletic but have found a new love for football by watching Salford grow into what it is now.
I used to go to the home games of Welling United when they were in the GM Vauxhall conference so understand the true passion of local club. No plastic fans, Just a true love of the club.
Hoping that you guys will welcome me into my new found passion (Even though I'm a cockney )

The fact that we have clearly spent money, does lead to accusations of 'buying the league' and 'plastic fans'. But any neutral who watched the documentary can clearly see the owners are in this for the best of motives. I started supporting the club a couple of years before the Cof92 came in and although I enjoyed it, it was hard work. The season before they came in, I think we had about 200 players registered and the team changed every week. So it’s great to see a settled team, in a fantastic stadium, with families coming out for the day. Isn’t that what it’s all about?

Chris,
You can definitely see the owners have the clubs best interest at heart and any owners intentions would be to take the club as far as possible.
The fact that they are looking towards the next 15 years speaks volumes, granted they are very successful ex players with more money than we could ever dream of, when I first heard about it I thought this was just a rich boys hobby but they are clearly very involved with the club without micromanaging every decision.
Looking forward to the future of the club
