That Ritchie Allen is a nasty piece of work who deserved everything he got, he even exchanged verbals with a fan in family stand before he got ball for his pen

Or was he abused and he gave some back? not saying that's why he's nasty just pointing out the unprofessionalism, like when he spat towards us in first leg. He was called a tosser which is why I said 'exchanged'

Having had 48 hours to digest Sunday's result I feel nothing but pride in everything the club, staff, players and fans have achieved this season. Gutted we lost on Sunday but every player left it all out on the pitch and I just hope those guys that missed the pens don't carry any guilt with them. They were man enough to stand up and take the penalties and they're all heroes in my eyes. The ovation the players got from the fans at the end was one of the most emotional things I've been a part of and it was touching to see the support the fans gave them and the genuine respect between players and fans. For those lads that are leaving, you're all legends in my eyes and go with our best wishes. Any time you're back at Moor Lane there's a pint waiting at the bar from me!ππ Wish Halifax all the best in the final and kind of hope they go up so I don't have a heart attack every time the ball gets lumped into our box next season!π We will come back stronger from this and I've no doubt we'll be up there challenging again next April. One slight gripe from Sunday to end on and surprised no-one has mentioned it on here yet. Why were the penalties not taken in front of the empty stand? I always said before the play-offs that there would be one goal in the tie either way with the possibility of extra-tme and pens as there was little between the teams. Did Halifax purposely put the Salford fans in the side stand to gain an advantage in the event of penalties? Was there even a toss to decide which end the pens were taken? Call me a conspiracy theorist but taking them in front of their vocal support gave Halifax a huge advantage (along with having a freak of a keeperπ). Oh and the ref could've allowed an extra 10 seconds for that breakaway when he blew at the end as well as JJ was clear!π Superb post SalfordSlim. The ovation ALL the players got was heartwarming and fully deserved. Fantastic support by the Ammie's fans! It's a good job though that they abolished hanging as their manager would have been strung up a long time ago after having been abused both face to face and by the bucketfull on their fans forum after a disastrous set of results just before they played us in the return league game at the Shay! He must be so proud of HIS teams fans!
