Seen it on the National league website, their average attendance is only 1810 which is mad.
yeah good point, I hope that is the case. If we can take similar numbers to the FC United and Hartlepool games then the atmosphere should be brilliant.
I think they only averaged around 1300 in their last season in the league (and as Town), but in fairness the years leading up to that had always been a bit poor, so averaging 1800+ is pretty good at this level. Like a lot of ex league clubs in the non-league they have certain fans who think they are much bigger than they actually are. Yes in comparison to most of the non-league teams they are (and should be given the league years), but they do forget that as soon as they get back in the league the roles are reversed with them being the small fish again! I have had a fondness of Halifax since feeling the pitch underneath my feet following a goal from George "Ironing Board" Oghani one year at the Shay

Yeah Stockport are the exact same, think they're entitled to league football etc when they aren't a big club anymore. After reading their forum I couldn't be more excited for Sunday now.
Does anybody know what segregation will be in place for Sundays game?

Loving the bollox on the Halifax forum. Big club..blah blah. Salford fans are plastic......blah blah. Ref was biased....on the payroll. They even claimed we defended after equalising. No mention that their keeper was time wasting from the first goal kick. Talk about rose tinted specs....think they need cleaning.
They have a pop at Salford, whilst they live in one of the biggest sh*t piles in Yorkshire. I worked there for two years. Inbred and a shite stadium they can't get close to filing, despite their shot for more tickets.
They have that 'ex-league sense of entitlement' that we see from certain other clubs. I'd enjoy a win there on Sunday almost as much as I enjoy beating Darlo.

......... They even claimed we defended after equalising. I can understand why they claim that as they had their best spell of the entire match forcing a number of dangerous corners after it. Other than Allens run where it looked like he could have squared it rather than falling over, I cannot remember us getting out of our own half

I know they had chances too, but I didn't feel as though it was because we were trying to defend.

We were much louder than you and we were singing before our goal and after yours. There was a page doing commentary on twitter who mentioned how loud we were numerous times but never you. We are a much better side without Denton but due to your threat from set peices he plays a vital role which we can't replace. I can't see 5000 on Sunday tbh, probably 3500 + about 200? Of you. How many fans will you bring?

Not too sure where that's come from then. All I heard was some 12 year old kid banging a drum until it got taken off him.
Not a clue how many Salford fans are going but judging from us only selling the 2 coaches i would say 300 max but I might be wrong.

We dominated the 1st half as Jordan Hulme tried to lob the keeper when clear on goal in the opening minutes - not his speciality unfortunately - two decent opportunities from Mike Phenix went wide of the target and they scored with their only meaningful attacking of the opening half. Michael Nottingham hit the foot of the post and then missed a glorious headed opportunity before Pooley gave us our deserved equaliser. There main threat came from a succession of corners which I thought we dealt with really well in the circumstances.

Nothing to do with the rest of the match

I'd be shocked if you didn't. 3/4000 to 300 fans.
Don't really care if you do to be fair, it's the play off semi finals not Eurovision.
