Current League table with remaining fixtures ...............
1 - AFC Fylde P 41 GD 47 Pts 85 HOME v Worcester City
2 - Kidderminster Harriers P 41 GD 33 Pts 79 HOME v Bradford Park Avenue
3 - Halifax Town P 41 GD 36 Pts 77 AWAY v Chorley
4 - Darlington P 41 GD 26 Pts 76 AWAY v Salford City
5 - Salford City P 41 GD 31 Pts 74 HOME v Darlington
6 - Chorley P 41 GD 21 Pts 74 HOME v Halifax Town
7 - Stockport County P 41 GD 18 Pts 72 HOME v Gloucester City
If we win or at worst avoid defeat against Darlington next Saturday we are guaranteed a play off place as even a Stockport victory in the event of us drawing would not see them able to better our hugely superior goal difference. With Halifax already guaranteed a play off place we can't rely on them going flat out to win at Chorley. If we lose it's in the lap of the gods so it really is still in our own hands! I know Darlington are going to appeal but it would be utterly farcical at this stage of proceedings if they were successful. Rules is rules if you take the time out to read them!

I think Halifax will be pushing for 2nd, to get the home fixture if they get to the final.

I am sure Kidderminster will be pushing just as hard.

True, but the point is not whether Kidderminster try just as hard. The point I was making was that Halifax will not be coasting against Chorley.

They will be looking over their shoulder. As for Fylde, it's a chance for their fans to celebrate the title, so they will want to go out winning.
