I just saw on his Twitter feed, that it's Gaz Seddon's last game today. In my 5 seasons watching Salford, he was far and away the best player I've seen. Subjective I know, but nobody I've seen in non-league had that same ball control as him. He could take a ball launched 100ft in the air and bring it down to a stop in front of him. Great to see, looks easy, yet it's anything but. That might be useful right now. 😏
He scored some amazing and crucial goals for us and at his best, must have terrified defenders. His demeanour around the club also stood out. He clearly loved playing the game. I have no doubt he'll be just as successful off the pitch as well. In my eyes, a legend of my time at Salford. Best of luck to him!

Absolute class player as you say and such a pity that injury blighted his second season with us although his goal against Ashton United in the semi-final play off win was a fitting farewell that will never be forgotten by those who were there. A lot of the goals he scored for us were real stunners and I'd agree with you that he is a real legend. Happy retirement Seds and best of luck in your future ventures!

I'll echo those sentiments. Gaz was a vital, if not THE vital, component in the successful 2014-15 campaign, and though he spent much of last season in the treatment table, he still managed to score a crucial (and cracking) goal in the playoff semi-final, as well as a winning goal earlier in the season at Mickleover.
I wish him all the best in his future as Ramsbottom's foremost expert on cheeses.
