I very much welcome this gesture and just hope that we see enough interest from supporters to make it worthwhile for the club. I appreciate given the relatively short notice that we may not fill the bus this time around but I'd really like to see more fans making the effort in going to away games to support the team. I understand that work and family commitments may play a part but given that the transport provided is free of charge - and door to door - I can see no excuse why supporters can't make the effort to use it. WestonSuperManc and me are already booked on it. Who's next!

Top bloke is Dave who genuinely cares for the fans. Let's acknowledge his generosity by making use of it!

Unfortunately due to a prior commitment I can't make the game on Saturday but I hope those who go have a good day out and we get a good result.

It's excellent that the club are sticking with the coach travel. I'm a season ticket holder, and as much as I'd love to go to every away match, it's difficult. Family commitments and all that.
I hope fans to full advantage of this, all it's is the price of a ticket for the match! :-)

Dave drove the minibus to Ashton for the FA Cup game, absolute gent always got time to have a word. Unfortunately due to family most away games are not possible for me but will be following @salfordcity on twitter for progress, for those attending have a great day and I hope the result goes our way, see you Tuesday

I'm out early on Saturday evening, so can't make it. But I hope the club do it again, because I'd like to use it.

Just out of interest, and I'm not fishing here. How many supporters would Salford be likely to take to a game at Lancaster? For us It's one the "derby" games that we look forward to. We'd be looking at between 40 and 50. Tomorrow is a hell of a trip, Scarborough (in Bridlington) The club has filled the players coach with interested fans so ther should be about 25 of us in East Yorkshire.

I think it's going to take a while before we get any kind of following away from home. We have the true faithful, but I don't think the numbers are big!

Just out of interest, and I'm not fishing here. How many supporters would Salford be likely to take to a game at Lancaster? We took a very decent away following last season but I don't obviously think we'll have as many this time around. Just out of interest I will count the away following ie officials, committee and supporters and will post the number we took over the weekend.

I didn't get round to doing the count after all today although there seemed to be a healthy number of our supporters around today - many of whom I don't appear to have seen before. I would say that excluding the committee members that there must have been at least 30 supporters. Given the absence of a number of 'old time' fans I think that was an encouraging tun out. Didn't hear a peep out of the Lancaster fans though - most of whom came in at half-time to make most of the 'half-time half pay' scheme!
