A 2-2 draw was on reflection a fair outcome but I suspect neither of the sides won't be too happy about any of the goals they conceded. We had the better of the first half and Darlo in the second although neither of the keepers were forced into pulling of any stand out noteworthy saves with both defences generally coping reasonably well with most of what was thrown at them. With Darlington having come from behind twice I suspect they might be the happier of the sides although the general feeling among the Salford support was that it was a decent away point against a side in the top four.
All together a great day out on the coach with Salford's finest coupled with an enjoyable pre-match drinking session in a very decent pub in Northallerton. And the Bernard and Jonno masks were a nice touch as well!

Yes a good point. And two good sides on view.I really enjoyed the game we had the best of the first half, and they came back in the second.I liked to say well done to the vast majority that traveled today.Though we can do without someone throwing a plastic bottle in the direction of their keeper at the end it doesn't do the club any good at all.
