returntosender said to me on the way home from Telford today that he preferred going to away games from both an atmosphere point of view and that it feels like fans and players have a closer bond at opposition grounds and I have to agree with him on both counts. Until we get a proper stand at Moor Lane where all the fans can congregate together then we're highly unlikely to replicate the sort of atmosphere we had this afternoon. Personally I prefer segregation inside football grounds themselves as it means all our supporters are together and subsequently more likely to join in with any vocal support generated without feeling either awkward or embarrassed. I personally don't care what anyone might say. I'm there to support my team in the only way I can and will give as much vocal encouragement as I can. And judging from the players - and the gaffers - comments on twitter today apart from obviously being delighted at getting back to winning ways they were also very complimentary about the fans who traveled and their support throughout the afternoon ....... Michael Phenix - "Get In! Proud of the boys today, the fans were class, can finally enjoy a weekend again." Jay Lynch - "Feels good to get back to winning ways today & a clean sheet, The fans was different class today." Anthony Johnson - "Fans were unbelievable today. Lads loved it!" Sam Walker - "Better from us today! The fans that traveled were class! Non stop for 90 minutes." Great to be appreciated and playing our part in the teams return to winning ways today!

I'll be in the main stand soon enough. My back can't take almost 2.5 hours of standing and it will be worse in the Winter. But we need that stand for sure.
