Not the FA Cup draw I suspect we really wanted given we return to Edgeley Park exactly a week later for a league fixture. Factor in the chances of a drawn cup tie and we may just end up meeting them three times in the space of eight days with very little time to prepare for any possible replay at Moor Lane. Will we end up sacrificing a potential money spinning / interest generating FA Cup run this time around in the hope of giving ourselves a better chance of securing three valuable league points the following weekend? Stockport certainly aren't pulling up any trees this season so why not aim for a historic double and let people know that we've really arrived! I'll also be very interested to see what crowds these two games will pull in and particularly how many Salford fans will be in attendance. Excepting those that are on holiday is everyone planning to go to both games? From our point of view we should take a healthy number for the cup tie with perhaps numbers for the league fixture determined by the previous weeks result? Who knows?

It's not the tie I'd have chosen, especially with another fixture at the same venue only seven days later, plus the possibility of playing them three times in a week should the first tie end in a draw. None the less, I fully expect to be at both games.
