Only two games went ahead in the league today. Workington took advantage of their non-postponement with a 1-0 home win, putting them four points clear of the Ammies and within two of Blyth. Even though there is still a long way to go, I would say that Tuesday's game is shaping up to be a crucial one, perhaps another 'must not lose' rather than a 'must win'. That said, with Darlo and Ashton right up our backsides, all games are becoming crucial ones.

I've never known rain like this in my 32 years on Earth, or can't remember. By my reckoning, we've had consistent rain since the first week of November, with only the odd day or two here and there dry (plus a brief hiatus for snow).

Weather forecast doesn't make for good reading, will be interesting to see how the table shapes up over the next seven games, maximum points needed.

Schedule will be chocker if they don't extend the season, especially if there's more postponements.

Workington have put a really impressive run together, since we played them. Since we beat them 4-1 at their place they've taken 37 points from a possible 42 which is title winning form. Tuesday night's game against them is going to be huge as will be the game fours days later against Darlington. Assuming of course that either or both actually get played due to this bleedin' weather which is really pi**ing me off now!

maybe yesterday being off was a blessing in disguise, 2 massive games this week starting tuesday, so a welcome rest for the lads
hope to see Poole and Webber start, i do believe we look more a threat when those 2 start together

The supporters of Workington, made the traveling army most welcome when we went up to play them.I hope any that come on Tuesday are made to feel as welcome. Also the food on offer in the bar was second to none.

Already looking forward to the next two top of the table clashes (if the rain ever gives up).
Six points would be massive

Got a strong feeling tomorrows game won't be going ahead! Too much rain forecasted on top of the rain we've already had! :-(

this rain is relentless the world is ending, 46ft waves and force 10 winds in the south last night
as for tomorrow, i can't see it going ahead, the pitch would be a mud bath going into saturday
