Has anyone else had issues with our ticket office on refunds for digital tickets?
I am unable to attend the game this evening due to work commitments which won’t see me back in the NW til Thursday, but the ticket office just seems unhelpful in either actioning a refund or allowing me to swap the tickets for the terrace to Saturday against Barrow. I don’t get what the issue is.

I had a similar problem with the Bradford game. I bought digital tickets and emailed them on the morning to say I couldn't make the game.
I did this once last season and Andy Giblin emailed back within the hour and refunded.
However, it took a week before I got a reply and they said unable to give refund. They said they don't give refunds when given less than 48 hours notice before kick off. I did respond by pointing out that this information was not published on the website. Its a shame that the rules seem to have changed and that the ticket office is so difficult to get hold of.

I am in the same boat, I informed them at the first opportunity this morning and would happily exchange them for the same tickets for Saturday. I am more annoyed because I don’t have a ST but attend 90% of the home games in a season and have done for the last 2 and a half.

This isn't going to help either home or away fans particularly as it's been given little prominence at the end of the article on the official club site previewing tonight's game! **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
'Tickets can be purchased online anytime until kick-off, or from the club shop during opening hours and until 10 minutes after kick-off on the day (subject to availability).
Please note we will no longer be accepting payment on the day at any of the turnstiles. To buy tickets in person at the ground on the day you must purchase them in the club shop on Moor Lane with cash or card, or buy online.'

Similar thing for me. I want to release my season ticket for the Barrow game as I have bought two tickets elsewhere in the ground so I can sit with my stepdaughter. I emailed the office on Monday still nothing back yet. Last time I asked or was a no As the new ticketing system doesnt allow a season ticket seat to be released for one game. Yet one more way they're failing to grow the fan base. Also all the season ticket holders not turning up doesn't help as its very difficult in certain blocks of the North stand to get any tickets together wheh they go on open sale

That would make common sense.

Totally agree. I'm always trying to get in the North stand but there's rarely any seats. Turn up and it's dead. Id be interested in buying someone's season ticket off them, I even messaged the club asking if there was a mid season type season ticket they do or if anyone had expressed interest in selling their ST but heard nothing.

I assume the club don't want to lose the guaranteed income from a ST whether anyone uses it or not. It does nothing for the atmosphere though so there's a balance to be made.
We did used to do a half ST a few seasons back but no longer it seems.

The block in the corner of the North Stand as you walk in has had rows of seats empty all season. Go on the ticketing site and they are never available.

Pensioners (like me) on an 'early bird renewal ST' have paid £100 for 23/24. The 'normal adult' version of same being £180. Incredible value (and hopefully to continue) but which results in "this situation" that you and others are rightly commenting on. The Club should take action to stop the sale of Season Tickets to those people who never turn up. What's currently happening is a mockery and unfair to genuine fans.

I think I'm right in saying Utd have a "use it or lose it" scheme with their STs but I guess demand is so high they can afford to do it. As Alan says £100 renewal for us oldies is ridiculously cheap so there's no incentive not to give it up even if you miss over half the games. Not sure what the answer is but there must be a point where a guaranteed £180/£100 a season isn't more valuable to the club than the potential of selling full price tickets for 15+ games. I wonder if anyone has raised it with the club via fan's forums or directly through email etc?

Money behind the bar, food vans, shop and programmes. I must spend an additional £20 a game on increasing the waistline alone 🤣

Does anyone know when ST's normally go on sale for the following season?
