I'd be tempted to drop Touray and try Turnbull at LB. We've not had any competition in that position for years so no wonder he's maybe getting complacent. Also the 4231 doesn't seem to work as we're lacking up front. I've said it before but 442 or 433 would be better at getting us more firepower up front. 442 seemed to work well in pre-season. We looked good in that formation.

You’ve clearly made up your mind.

You’ve clearly made up your mind. we must see games from different angles. the derby game was very even where they failed to take their chances but seeing we are two divisions lower it was a good performance. the lincoln match we were 2nd best all over the pitch. they hardly broke sweat. that is the same lincoln team that has started their league 1 campaign as poorly we have started ours

Tend to agree with Chipbarm about dropping Touray as Ndaba looks like he's predominantly left footed so if we're playing 4 at the back then why not maybe give him a run there? Maybe sit Lowe in front of the back 4 and have 5 forward thinking players in what ever formation suits? Alternatively play 3 at the back and maybe stick Golden in one of the "wingback" roles. Because the Prem league and the likes play the 4231 formation, it doesn't mean it suits all levels and teams!

That game was even in the first half, but not in the second. We bossed the game in the second half. You’re almost excusing Derby and suggesting we only won because they didn’t take their chances. True, Lincoln coasted, but they are a league above us. They may have started poorly…..but they are a league above us. The thing is, once you take against a manager, you see fault in everything they do. We’ll see what happens as the season progresses, but if anyone thinks all this needs is a managerial change, they have their head in 5he clouds.

Tend to agree Chris P about not taking chances. Although Newport were poor the week before we took a few of the chances in that game and won comfortably, however, we have played better in other games and lost! On Saturday it was as though Carlisle had worked us out first half and in the second we just couldn't get into the final third of the pitch which was extremely frustrating to watch? As for changing managers a month into the season it's highly unlikely! It's very early days and with a couple of wins we jump into the play off positions, so if we're in the same position as now in November GB will be looking over his shoulder but fully expect the table to look different in a couple of months.
