Tuesday 18/5 - Newport County v Forest Green Rovers Sunday 23/5 - Forest Green Rovers v Newport County
Thursday 20/5 - Tranmere Rovers v Morecambe Sunday 23/5 - Morecambe v Tranmere Rovers
So who would you prefer to get promoted? For no other reason other than distance I'm hoping to see either Newport or Forest Green get promoted and to leave us with two fairly local teams. I've no love for either Newport - who cheated their way to a last minute penalty at Moor Lane - or for the veggie tree huggers of Forest Green, so it's going to be the lesser of two evils! Difficult to predict who will actually get promoted but if I had to call it out I'd go for Morecambe.

I don’t really mind.

Morecambe's not too far to travel. And, on a sunny day, the view across the bay looking towards the Lake District is very satisfying ... even more so if you're sat on the patio of that popular pub on the seafront with drink in hand.
So. Morecambe to stay down. Newport to go up (their bar that they put the away fans in charges extortionate prices!).

The play offs are wide open but I’d go with Newport to go up.

Tranmere for me too, they should be a championship side with their support and history.

Whilst I don’t really care, I’d like to see Lloyd get promotion.

Does League 2 weight away goals?

Does League 2 weight away goals? Don't think so, but not certain. However do know that both second-leg play-offs are on this Sunday. And that the Wembley final is on Monday May 31st ... when I had hoped we'd be in it and that I'd be down there.
PS: Just checked ... the semis are won purely on aggregate scores (with an extra 30 mins and pens in the event of draws).

That certainly helps Tranmere.

I'd like currently to be watching the FGR v Newport County semi ; there's 6 goals been scored so far this evening and they're now into injury time, drawing 4-4 on aggregate. Another 30 mins and maybe penalties beckons. This could be Forest Green's 'Salford v Eastleigh' occasion. Kind of.

A last minute winner for Newport, at least this one was legitimate. Don't really care who wins the final, Morecambe's manager is an obnoxious git and that dodgy penalty for Newport still annoys me.
I see Sutton were promoted from the National League today, nice for them as they've never been a League team before.

For no other reason than traveling distance I'm hoping that Newport County win promotion but other than that I have no love for them at all!
