Hi, we are some footbal fans, or let’s say football-stadium fans from Germany. Just for fun we’ve started to build football-stadium at a 1:100 scale out of wood with all details like floodlight, every single seat etc. Our (Holger, Veronika & me (Olaf) last stadium project was the Millerntor Stadium of Germany‘s 2nd Leaque club FC St.Pauli, which took us more than 3 years….
If you like to get an idea, please check figures on Holgers Facebook page & website at: de-de.facebook.com/stadionmodellbau.tribian
As you can see from the links, we do like midsize stadiums and small grounds…and Moor Lane / Peninsula Stadium is really small… ;-) To us it still sounds grazy but we would love to come over to the UK and have a walk through the Peninsula Stadium to take pictures and all dimensions - simply to build an exact 1:100 copy of he Peninsula Stadium out of wood. It woud be great to get some help! Is there anybody out in Salford who would be able to guide us through the stadium or who could support us with a contact?

Hi, thanks for your reply. It would simply be a great help to have a local contact at Salford. We found some architecture plans at stadiumdb.com/designs/eng/moor_lane. When viewing pictures of Salford Stadium on the internet, we see some differences to the initial plans. From other stadiums we also experienced that architecture plans always differ in some details from the final "real" stadium... I'll get back to you by email. Many thanks again! Olaf
