A thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining cup tie with the young Ammie's running out as convincing winners by 5-1 against Daisy Hill in front of a very decent sized crowd which was well in excess of any seen at their 1st team games this season.
After the home side had started comfortably two goals in the space of as many minutes just before the half hour mark from Annointed Chukwa and Simeon Burrrows put Salford in the driving seat before Daisy Hill pulled one back just four minutes later. However, a more dominant second half performance saw Chukwa claim his hat-trick against a plucky but tiring opposition to put the Ammie's comfortably into the next round courtesy of some lovely free flowing football which is a credit to both the management team and of course to the players themselves. Well done boys!

I was pondering who I should anoint as man of the match. 😀 Once into his stride, he was dominant. Great performance and done good goals from the lads. That the build up that led to our second was something special.
I really enjoyed the game. Since I went into it with few expectations and knowing these lads are there to learn, I watched it feeling totally relaxed. None of the stress that our first team put us through. 😏
Will definitely go to more of these games.
