Thought City (Worcester) deserved a point today - a bit too panicky in front of goal. That said, you took your chances and were denied another couple of goals by fantastic saves by Vaughan. Our main hope for survival is that some time very late next week AFC Fylde hold a party with a free bar and are still sloshed on Saturday. The only positives I took from today were WCFC's effort, the sunshine and your fan dressed as Catwoman!

Two posts, no mention of the team having to play with 10 men for 50 minutes. Great effort!

Great win today in testing circumstances. You could tell how much it meant to the whole team and management staff. Really pleased for Pheno to break his recent drought. He works hard for the team without always getting the rewards or the plaudits. Two great substitutions in the second half, too, and a good goal to seal a hard-earned win. Just one more game to go now and it's still in our hands - couldn't ask for more of this season really.

Massive win today and a particularly hard fought victory given our one man disadvantage following Pooley's unnecessary sending off. We were certainly the better side in the first half and more than deserved our half time lead with Pheno showing exactly what the goal meant to him. Despite their league position Worcester are no pushovers and their equaliser signaled a period of pressure that culminated in an open goal miss which if converted would have really put us on the back foot. Credit though to the lads for keeping going and not giving up and for the second time in a week it was another late goal that secured us a priceless victory with a piece of real class play from Nick Haughton sealing an enjoyable - if at times nail biting - afternoon.

Having seen the highlights, Pooley clearly kicked the ball away after the whistle. I've seen worse not given a card, but by the letter of the law....
But I can say with the utmost conviction, that their keeper was a twat! As good a display of passive-aggression that I've ever seen. After sprinting to the half way line, he proceeded to get in our players face, but with his hands at his sides. Looked like he was mouthing off too. Clearly aggravating a situation.

He got some stick for the rest of the game after his 'contribution' to the incident

It might have something to do with the indisputable fact that all 'keepers are genetically maladjusted (I can personally attest to this).

You've just got to love opposition fans forums. According to a couple of Worcester posters they not only lost to a fake club but our weekly wage bill is £20,000! Having been formed in 1940 I'm proud to say that we've never been in debt, been subject to financial incompetence, lost our ground in the process and to top it all faced the possibility of voluntary relegation. People in glass houses .........

People in glass houses ......... Funny how twisted and bilious some fans will get about a club that two or three years ago they barely knew existed. A case of the green-eyed monster if ever there was one. These type of comments aren't an isolated incident, nor are they unique to the Worcester City fan forum. Yes, we have got some backing behind us, but so what? Some people should check their own histories and worry about keeping their own houses in order.

Allow us some bitterness, please! Over the years local clubs we've looked down on patronisingly, like Kiddy and Cheltenham have leapfrogged us ... and then there was the local rugby club which had a ground with basically a bus-shelter for a stand just happened to gain the support of a guy who just been paid a couple of hundred million by Bosch for his company. In a city which had no real regard for rugby the 'Warriors' are now getting crowds of 12,000. Just when WCFC needed some business acumen to face the challenge the board manage to sign a land deal which led to our homelessness. It's not you, it's us!! All the same, if you were me at 4.45 pm yesterday you too would have muttered obscenities at your goal-scorer. Good luck in the play-offs, assuming you get there.
