It now has been confirmed that Darlington's appeal along with Hungaford & Poole against playing in the Play-offs has been rejected ! They will stay in National League North ! Does this make them even more determined to spoil our play-off chances ? Maybe so but I'm convinced that Chorley and Stockport chances off both gaining wins is not guaranteed ! We will how it pans out on Saturday but most Salford fans would have not expected to be anywhere near the top five at the start of the season ! Up the Ammies!

It's simple. We win on Saturday and we're in the playoffs, irrespective of anyone else.
I suppose it's confirmed now that 6th gets that final playoff spot?

Personally, I would much prefer us to cement our place in the playoffs by beating Darlo on Saturday (thus securing 4th, possibly 3rd) and remove any possible argument. If we do beat them and Chorley win, then they'll finish 6th anyway.

The best we can hope to achieve is 4th place as Halifax Town - currently in 3rd place - hold a 3 point and 5 goal advantage over us go into the weekend. Assuming that we qualify for the play offs it's more than likely that we would then be playing either Kidderminster Harriers or Halifax Town at home in mid week with the return game away on the Sunday afternoon.

It would be best to enter the playoffs on our own merits with a win on saturday. Whatever happens its been a great season. I live down in kent, be brilliant if we get promotion, will have some tasty matches close to home. Ill be listening on the radio,up the ammies!!

Mathematically, we can still finish third. The following results would assure it: Salford 3-0 Darlington Chorley 3-0 Halifax Admittedly, it is unlikely, but nevertheless feasible.

Its a shame the school end hasn't made much progress since the Stockport game as it means it will probably be the same segregation set up.

Interesting that Darlo's manager spoke at their supporters group/board meeting this week and announced that he did not believe fan funding could carry Darlington any further at this level or higher.
Given there almost righteous views about the Salford owners and Investment in Salford, it will be interesting to see how it pans out at Darlington. Obviously they will continue to reject outside investment and remain fan owned, climbing the leagues through their car washing and cake sale drives

I'm thinking of leaving some buckets with a few 2ps in their stand this weekend before they arrive, labeled, 'from all your friends at salford' :-)
