The Arrogance has come because not a single thought was given to the weather or not another coach had been organised and the club has just rail roaded what has been set up and organised all season because the club washed their hands of it we didnt choose to do it we just took it on because fans were asking. All it would of took was to speak to myself or Chris and we could of worked with the club and all fans but were just the mugs who took it on.

Only been on by the supporters coach once and brilliantly organised by Andy and Chris.
If the club were happy to subsidise the coaches, the club could of spoken to these guys to arrange a "quiet" coach, I'm sure they would of happily obliged.
Next season once again when the club decide not to arrange transport who's going to do it then? The away support has increased since these guys organised the coaches, and they did so to help fellow supporters.
Shame that a minority moan and bitch about it, who cares of people want a beer, no one is forcing anyone to do so.
Anyway, thanks Andy and Chris for all your efforts this season.

Firstly the club has to be commended for their generous offer of travel to Gainsborough on Good Friday for the bargain price of £5.50 which represents excellent value for anyone wanting to go and support the boys at this critical stage of the season. It really is an offer that no self respecting Ammie's fan should be able to refuse. Given the surprising and admittedly disappointing fact that there hasn't been enough people to make up the numbers for the trip to Boston this weekend makes it an even more attractive proposition and should guarantee an excellent turnout of Salford fans for our next scheduled trip to Lincolnshire.
I can also very much sympathise with both Andy and Chris who have done a superb job in ensuring that the team has been well supported in numbers at such outposts as Gloucester City and Brackley Town to name but a few when the club had all but disowned the supporters after last seasons early run out to Buxton which left something of a sour taste in the mouth after certain comments that were passed regarding that days turnout of fans who used the coach. Having said that I'm personally delighted that there has at last been a change of heart by the club and hope finally that it will be the start of many such officially competitively priced coach trips to away games.
The bone of contention appears to have been to some that the supporters run coach trips have set out too early meaning that we've arrived at our final destination in some cases 2.1/2 to 3 hours before kick off time which has been great for those who enjoy the social side of the day and who like to have a few drinks before the game but not so good for those who are on board primarily for the game itself. For me I like to enjoy the best of both worlds and have been more than happy to leave and arrive early on the supporters coach as I was at least I getting to away games without the hassle of driving and spending a small fortune on petrol. For that reason alone I was more than happy to support Chris and Andy's unselfish work at providing affordable transport to a number of away games this season. Their efforts have been very much appreciated by me and I wonder how much support we would have actually had at some of the away games this season if not for their efforts which have at certain times seem them out of pocket.
Having said all that, I - and a number of other supporters - have always felt that it should be up to the club to provide travel to away games and I'm glad that they're finally taking up the mantle. I've enjoyed the officially run away trips in the past to places like Durham, Newcastle, Blyth and Stourbridge to name but a few and they've always been good days out so I've no problem using the club organised run trips. We've been agitating for them to do so for some time now so let's support them and hope that it's the start of a regular thing. There's no doubt that there is the necessary interest out there these days to support such a venture so let's all unite an get behind the club and the team we all love and follow. At the end of the day that to me is the most important thing above all else.
To be honest I don't really care who organises or provides the transport at the end of the day just as long as we can be guaranteed it for every away game that warrants it. Hopefully a compromise can be found to ensure that we don't fall out with each other when at this important stage of the season we should all be firmly behind the team and management!

why would people not want to use the supporter run coaches? Its Dave and Carl moaning baring in mind it was Dave's complaint about the players drinking on the coach that got fans barred off the players coach to begin 😂😂 B12, you know you and I agree on a lot of things but I can assure you it very definitely wasn't Dave - who admittedly can be a bit of a moaning old git at times - who put the complaint in about the players drinking on the coach after our first ever trip to Darlington which resulted in the supporters being banned off the players coach for the following away game at Kendal Town and thereafter! I've always been led to believe that it actually came from a committee member!

Given that we're now owned by a bunch of millionaires and a billionaire it seems ridiculous that a couple of lads should be out of pocket after putting on coaches for away games. Putting on cheap coaches is a nice gesture by the club but it would be sad if this effectively undercuts the currently run coaches and stops them running.

ive not been to any away games this season but plan to start doing some next season if there is one available and whoever may be running it. the point being this last week hasn't been very good in decision making by the club first it was giving Stockport the stand which was rectified last minute after fan out bursts now this, if the club can take anything from this its that if there are any decisions to be made that will affect the fans why not consult us first

I'm not going to reiterate our reasons for the segregation arrangements for last Saturday - you're going to have to trust us when we say we had no real choice after the all-ticket and segregation decision was made. Incidentally, the seated stand was opened on Saturday thanks to the sterling efforts of the lads working on the site, who made a massive effort in response to the likely weather forecast. In the end everything went well but the reality is that the ground is, in effect, a building site and we have to keep everybody safe.
As for the coaches - they are a 'thank-you' to our fans who have supported us all season - only a small minorty of whom use the supporters coach. The motivation was to get as many supporters as we could to what could well be crunch games at the end of the season. We will do our best to arrange regular transport next season but we won't be able to offer the same prices - the coaches will have to break even. Maybe there will be room for both sorts of trips in the future but the harsh reality is that the coaches will have to pay their way.
If any supporters would like to meet with us to discuss options for coach travel in the future we'd be more than happy to do so. We fully appreciate how difficult it is to organise and to make ends meet!

We fully appreciate how difficult it is to organise and to make ends meet! 💯% on the seating stand and ive said so on the forum after the game on saturday great effort and credit where its due. But that small minority Andy which you have referred to have made up the vast majority of the away support this season with away crowds of less than 70 on the longer away days thats over half our current away support and if people were put off with our coach's nothing was stopping those fans from organising one themselves but there just isnt the numbers wanting to pay to cover the costs also the 'supporters" coach's are the most vocal for the team every away game. So although they make up a minority compared to the home gates its took myself and chris alot of hard work effort and an empty wallet at times to build that support up and at times you have to take the hit to keep the away support going. I hope we get 10 coach's going i really do to get behind the lads 💯% ans get us over the line ive prob took it as a personnel attack on our coach because it was alot of work and it just feels all for naff all. Cheers for replying Andy many wouldnt bother no hard feelings we move on #UTA #COYA 👍👍
